K2 Colocation has developed proprietary web-based bandwidth monitoring software that collects network data exported from routing and switching devices and uses it to analyze network traffic and report on bandwidth usage from your uplinks. Our bandwidth monitoring software will show you the amount of bandwidth utilization associated with each colocated device. This gives you valuable insight into bandwidth usage without the complexity and expense involved in a traditional WAN analysis setup.

HOW IT WORKS: Data is exported by our Foundry switches or from your network devices via SNMP. The exported data contains useful information on IP traffic. Once the data collection has been processed; the monitoring software presents a graphed report displaying your current utilization. Such reports are useful in monitoring bandwidth, analyzing network traffic and bandwidth capacity planning.
